A friend shared the following article with me:
How to Fix America's Work-Too-Much Culture
In addition to facilitating dance classes and self-care coaching, I also work in an office so I see firsthand what this article refers to from that perspective.
After you read the article, think about the following questions:
1) Does the way in which you've been working really serve you?
2) Where or when did you learn to work "so hard"?
3) What #1 thing needs to change with your work life in order to establish HARMONY with all areas of your life? For example, would it serve you to not answer text messages or work calls on your personal cell phone after 5 or 6pm?
If you struggle with creating the kind of balance or harmony that won't leave you feeling depleted, just know that you don't have to figure it out alone. Creating firm kickass self-care structures and healthy boundaries is one of my specialties. Shoot me an email or send me a message about your current struggles HERE and let's schedule some one-on-one time.
